TOMRA Northern Europe (NOE) Collection and Align Consulting AB continues their fruitful collaboration
After the successful on-time ERP-project* taking Tomra NOE’s seven countries from IFS 7.5 to IFS Cloud (a project in which Align worked on the customer’s side as project manager, solution and test lead, migration-, configuration- and report layout experts), the parties are now taking the next steps.
Aside of course from handling the rest list items from go-live, the immediate next step is to improve a few of the business flows by going to the very latest IFS Cloud release. While doing this, Tomra and Align are setting up the governance and monitoring organization suited for the new era. The future holds an evergreen mode with more frequent release updates, but with fewer (none?) major ERP-related projects, rather continuous Application Management and Business Improvement. Throughout the work, Align is supporting Tomra with expert advice.
“As we expected, Align was very dedicated to us as a customer in our project. They collaborated smoothly and professionally with IFS, us, and our other partners. Consequently, they proved our assumption correct: it would be a natural decision to continue working with them as our main partner post go-live in the governance phase” says Mattias Hecter, VP Finance, Tomra Northern Europe. “That is what we do now, in a continuous yet demand driven way”.
“The aligners we have met are flexible, and have deep knowledge in what they do. As as a matter of fact, it is great fun to work with them” says Michael Mondino, a true Tomra NOE IFS-expert as well as their IT-manager, with a smile.
Align Consulting AB’s CEO Per Aronsson comments: “We are truly humble and glad to have gotten the opportunity to continue the partnership with Tomra. I believe Tomra and Align has a cultural match that helps communication and collaboration – keys to our joint success. Looking forward to the months, and years, to come.”
